The naked god portrayed as a child with the right index finger to his mouth, wearing the white crown of Upper Egypt, with a frontal uraeus and hair with a braided sidelock of youth curling at his right shoulder, shown seated on an integral rectangular base. Seen as a member of the ideal family, comprising Osiris, Isis, and Harpokrates, Harpokrates acted as an amuletic force warding off dangerous creatures and was a popular deity with the Phoenicians who were closely connected to Egypt by both geography and trade.
Condition: Intact and in excellent condition overall.
